I LOVE MY KIDS BUT...

As parents we love our kids... but if we are being totally honest, here are a few other things we may be feeling! Can you relate?!

I’m not even a mother, but I do work with children and parents a lot due to the nature of my work and even so, I can relate!! I find it so sad that we have to put “I love my kids, but...” to talk about difficulties of parenting.

What is this unattainable and nonsense expectation that parents are supposed to do it perfectly without any complaints or difficulties and love every single moment of parenting about anyways? How is this possible when no humans are “perfect” in the first place? This can also be applied to every other aspects of life too, like work, other commitments in life..etc.

Nothing in life will ever be perfect the way I see it and of course there will be challenges no matter what you look at in life. I think being able to be honest and talk about it helps people be a saner, happier and better parents (or employee, partners in whatever..etc) Lets end the stigma about talking about our struggles and instead, let’s support each other!! We all need support from each other!

xD I'm currently pregnant with a 2nd boy lol and I feel like crying cause my 3 year old is ryhming constantly and never let's me have a bath or go toilet on my own lol he just stands and stares at me it's creepy 🤣 like why do they like to do that?🤔
