Quantum Computing Demystified | SFF 2020

Quantum Computing is a reality. The slow but steady pace of engineering advances in the past 5 yrs and the significant capital investment by governments, large corporates such as Alibaba and Google and also the rapid rise in private investment in start-up companies that are building a quantum processor, have all led to the current situation. However many people still have a tendency to overcomplicate the impact of the technology. This does not have to be the case – this talk will focus on the applications and in doing so will help demystify quantum computing.
