I feel like I'm missing something here. I get that there's a lot going on in the background, probably some kind of war, and Resopolis is presumably allied with the UEF and their king has some reason to visit the human general in his tent. What I don't get is why anyone though it was a good idea to put a nuke in the general's tent. Is this the same nuke he disarmed in his story? Does he take it with him from campaign to campaign like some sort of good luck charm? Did he order his men to take a nuclear weapon to his tent just to show it to the visiting king? If his camp is attacked, does he plan on using it as a melee weapon? Does he insist on all new weapons being taken to his tent so he can glare at them before they're stored properly?

I don't think the atomic bombs were dropped on Japan in anger. I watched a history Channel show that said they were dropped because Japan did not want to end the war and the costs of sending our tired troops to another long drawn out war with high casualties with a people hell bent on what ever caused them to believe suicide through we won that war and Japan was like no we want to continue killing our Neighbors and being assholes. Merica was like fine we have to scare your emperor with what can be brought to the table.

Its a common misconception that the atomic bombs are what caused Japan to surrender. Their military leaders didn't give a single fuck about the loss of life. In fact they were preparing to arm every man, woman and child in anticipation of a land invasion by the Americans. They would've seen their whole population slaughtered. I mean even after the first bomb was dropped they were still carrying out this plan. It took Emperor Hirohito stepping in and ordering them to surrender before they actually did. So in summary the atomic bombs did not end the war with Japan or WW2 in general. Both Germany and Japan had lost long before that. All the bombings did was show how dangerous the US was and that they would happily slaughter civilians to show their strength. And honestly not much has changed since then.
