Nissan? Chevrolet? Plymouth? Pontiac? Opel? Acura? Vector? DeLorean?

We’re missing some good ones here.

Why are some of the oldest companies missing though? I mean, both Tatra (2nd oldest car company) and Škoda (5th oldest car company) are missing.

You forgot the “DeLorean Motor Company’s DMC DeLorean-12” which is a legitimate car company and still sells refurbished DeLorean’s.

Mitsubishi is a weird one in that when Mitsubishi (zaibatsu) existed _Mitsubishi Motors_ did not, since Mitsubishi Motors was a daughter company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which was a result of the breakup of Mitsubishi (zaibatsu) at the end of WW2. So it kindof has 2 firsts, one as Mitsubishi and one as Mitsubishi Motors.

The F1 wasn't the first McLaren. It was the supposed to be the first *road-going* McLaren. Well before that McLaren made many different race cars. Also, two examples of the M6GT (a race car made by McLaren) were modified to be road legal, making that the first McLaren road car.

Damn Bentley and Lincoln were dunking on the competition at the turn of the decade.

The first Ford was actually made in 1891. Ford made race cars before they made production cars, and the race cars were the best of their time, some reaching up to 90 mph.
