My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.

This is great. I feel like I was emotionally damaged in the church because they are not equipped to handle the mental and emotional side. It was always..."are you praying?" "are you reading the word?" I had to realize I needed emotional and mental help so I went and got it. It's okay to seek help outside the church. After you've gotten the outside help, you can really stand on the word of God in the church.

It's a spiritual battle on both ends and most times, leadership in the church need help.

This was the best. Ashley’s uncontrollable laughter is so real and fun. Love it! I was laughing with her.

This is a prime example of two things:

1. Listening to someone who actually knows what they are talking about.
2. Context matters.

I love how Dr. Anita Phillips broke it down and brought correction and understanding in love. As a teacher, I get a lot of joy out of people being able to take complex topics and communicate them in bite-sized chunks so they become actionable/alive in peoples lives.

Whoever reading this, God never sends you into a situation alone, God goes before you, He stands beside you, He walks behind you. Whatever situation you have right now be confident. God is with you. Amen 🙏❤️🙌

So glad that churches are discussing mental health more and allowing persons to not think they are not trusting the word when they are struggling ❤👏🏾

The laughter & love shared among the sisters, CeCe's daughter is genuine!
Angie's announcement of her invisalines, Ashley trying hold back, then bursting out into hard laughter, then into tears...is way too real for me. Like Angie, CeCe Debbie & Ashley (my family loved to joke & laugh) and have clean fun.
After dinner my mom, sisters, would be sitting around the dining room table, sharing old family memories & laughing hysterically. It took me back to those times in my life (my parents, oldest sister, two brothers are longer here with me), and thank God I still have 2 brothers & 2 sisters, alive today.
I kept rewinding the video & laughing alone with them. This episode (was medicine for me), it reminded me of the love, laughter, joy & good times we all once had shared in our family home.

Angie is hilarious 😆. She looks like Mom and sounds like her. All of y'all are so gorgeous!

I would love a Winans Sisters album and tour. I love their voices individually and I‘d love to hear their voices together.

So very glad that followers of Jesus and people of color are talking about emotional health!! The therapist was so clear in showing how trained therapists who are believers are a gift of God! Keep the conversations going!!

"it is very dangerous to try and shape everybody and everything to what you do." I am a year late and feel so blessed to have come across this episode on this day and time. I resonate so much with it in this moment.

I am so glad you kept the cameras going. This was so natural non-religious environment- made it such a natural human conversation.

It has taken me a long time to realize that crying is such a great release and that God sees those tears. I really appreciated this talk and counselors/therapists that are Christ followers. The church could use a lot more conversations like this!
