This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed. The night drive felt so haunting and warm and nostalgic. It reminded me of my childhood in LA when I was too little to worry about politics or relationships or who I was. I focused on the sights and sounds of a sleepy city that passed me by as I drifted off to dream in the car.

Don't know exactly how to put it in words without using some clumsy cliches, but if you took the far off and bittersweet nostalgia associated with vaporwave, this sad and listless feeling of wishing you could go back to hold something you never even had, of facing some bleak and baseless future, and you then reversed all that I think you would land here. This song feels like a beautiful joy and reverie not mourning the loss of something that passed, nor fearing the future without it at all, but instead the calm celebration that it even happened, or just being amazed that it could have happened at all, and homing in on the way such a powerful feeling can seemingly exist in a truly timeless place.
