I have the Lime R5 and love it. My favorite rides include climbing and long distances. I have used this for half a dozen 100 mile rides and a 128 mile ride and it is a blast to ride. My normal training rides are 36-40 mile rides with a few 10-12% grades and a long 6% and I look forward to the climbs. That wasn't the case when I was on my old Roubaix. The first time I stood up to take off I noticed the difference of the stiffness everyone talks about. I had only been riding 18 months on the 2013 Roubaix when I purchased this so the Roubaix was all I had experienced and it was like a couch vs. the R5. The old couch is good for Zwifting but after descending on the Blue Ridge Parkway with my R5, I wont risk it on the Roubaix again. The R5 doesn't hesitate to go where you look and caught be by surprise on the first ride as it just needs a slight lean. It is super fast and eats up the nasty road surfaces and chatter bumps during a descent with ease. Mine came with 26 Vittorias and I am on my second set of them (left over stock bought for my Roubaix) so the first set I will buy for the R5 will be at least 32s for the rough roads here. I put 5, 500 miles on it last year.

I know you guys mentioned that there are better bikes for the Florida flat roads. I live in Miami and ride about 200 miles per week. What bikes would you recommend?

Finally we have a good-looking bike for 2024. Most other designs in this price range (including Cevelo's S5) look like "forget that it makes you puke, wind tunnel testing says it's fast!". And shame that they stick with press-fit BBs.

I have it ! In 34x34 for the mountains like the galibier, it’s perfect•One negative thing : it is not stable in the descent. Before I have trek emonda and this bike is stable in descent
