Man this takes me back to my childhood in the 1970s Benton Harbor, MI. My mother loved her some Al Green. They just don't sing like this anymore. Al is one of the baddest singers to EVER do it hands down. I'm 52 years old and this will never get old.

First Al album I ever bought...back in 1973. Bought all since. Best album is Al Green is Love. Turned on ALL of my public school students when I became teacher 1984-2008! New generation of fans. I am in bed dying RIGHT NOW! Had to hear one mo' time! Lub ya' Al. Bye to all fans. My friends all STILL call me when he is on TV shows. The other teachers always joke that he is my alterego! They ALWAYS bought me Al Green stuff for birthday. Never had to buy a ticket...or rent a ticket. Guy offered me $100 for my ticket to show in Dallas when I was 15. Told him he was crazy! Opening was Bobby Womack!!! Was best concert I ever saw. I saw Al EVERY time he played Dallas. Every Time. Funny How Time Slips Away. Now MY time is gone. Bye, bye, y' all. I got to go now. Guess I'll see you somewhere around...but remember when I told you AL...AL...AL!!!

My favorite thing about this is the slow build of the drums. (besides Al of course)
Once you notice the progressive pattern the drummer starts from beginning to end, its quite beautiful.
