this is based on a dream that I had shortly before hollow mind aired. NOW THIS AU IS IN LIKE TWO(2) PARTS, MY DREAM AND THE ACTUAL AU. im starting with my dream uvu

luz and hunter had a really close bond, close enough to the point where hunter let luz flip through his journal. i dont remember much but they basically went back and forth telling stories and stuff while luz read thru hunters journal. right before I woke up, luz read that hunter was a fallen angel and when she brings that hunter runs off into the woods before revealing his small wings and a patch of red crystals growing up his neck.

NOW ONTO THE ACTUAL AU (just worldbuilding tho)

the demon realm is the afterlife. NO THE CHARACTERS THAT HAVE BEEN MET THROUGHOUT THE SHOW ARE NOT DEAD id cry :'). witches are just a subspecies of demon that grow horns, bat-like wings, tails and/or fangs. some witches don't have any of these features (apart from their identifying ears), so it's easier for luz to hide when she arrives. there are three(3) ways to arrive in the demon realm, a summoning, death or the door. death is a one way ticket O-o. summonings can only be done by humans, they can summon a witch(or demon) but only for a short period of time, however if the witch/demon decides to pull the human into the demon realm, they have to live there and tend to develop witch like features and may even develop a bile sac. angels do exist but they are not dead creatures, they're just *another* species of demon (they're biblically accurate too, so not a humanoid creature with wings they're literally like floating eyes with huge wings and halos floating around them). witches used to be able to fly, but lost their ability to in the modern day. witches and demons in the emperors coven grow feathers on their wings or feathered wings if they don't already have wings.

tl;dr: demon realm is afterlife, witches are a species of demon, humans can basically turn into witches if they have a summoning, biblically accurate angels exist as a species of demon, emperors coven have angel wings
