Young Texas voters turning out in record numbers

More than 1 million voters under the age of 30 have already voted in Texas. CBS News correspondent Janet Shamlian joined CBSN AM with more on how this group could potentially sway the election.

As a Chinese born young professional who is currently working in NYC, I feel sad American youngsters don't know the voting rights really means. This is a privilege so please use it. Not too many people in the world can have this chance to spread their voice every 4 years. Please go vote. No matter which side you pick.

I am an Arab-American. I would like to send a message to the presidential candidates when announcing the winner. that America is more important than one person. Because I feel that the world hopes that there will be problems in this election . we will assure the world that America will not fulfill there desire . The People of Texas seem to be forgetting that they almost voted for a democrat senator last time around, he lost by 3% of the vote. If you ask me, that shows Texas has the potential to become a swing state, especially with this pandemic.
