El Silbon was part of the inspiration for Death in Puss in Boots 2 👌🏼

That is so nice to hear some new mythical creatures I’ve never heard of. Seriously, so amusing.

The range of human imagination in trying to explain the world is fascinating. I'd be happy to see individual videos on any of these, but especially the ghost dogs and the little people tricksters. I really like stories of tricksters - that's why I especially like stories about Coyote and Anansi!

El Silbón is also Colombian, not just Venezuelan. In Colombia there is also el Hombre Caiman (Alligator Man), La Madremonte (The Mountain Mother) the protector of nature, El Mohan, that can be evil, but also protects the rivers, El Coco, that's originally from Spain and Portugal but is also mentioned in a lot of Latin American countries, and a lot more.

As a young boy around the age of 12 I had an encounter with “La Llorona “ I went to Agua Prieta for the funeral of my Stepfather’s mother and after the fact I was hanging out with one of the local boy’s around dusk when we heard La Llorona’s lament 😭!! It sounded like an ungodly scream of terror and laughter at the same time!! By the second time we heard it me and the other boy agreed it would be a good time to go inside before it got dark!! Legend says she’s been wandering around since pre-Aztec times…

This was a great video. I love the multi myth videos that center around a theme. Hope they lead to longer more in depth videos

Fun fact: Camazotz was also featured as a Titan in the MonsterVerse. He first appeared in the MonsterVerse in the comic Kingdom Kong.

Would also like to see him in either a future MonsterVerse movie or an episode of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

You should’ve brought El Coco because not many outside of the Latin culture or inside has ever heard about this vengeful spirit

I really hope there's a good horror movie featuring El Silbon. The whistling gimmick writes scenes by itself.

I'd like to see a video on monsters of Indonesian mythology, if you haven't done that yet. I know the giant bird Garuda is a big deal in their culture, and I'm sure such a diverse country must have a crazy range of monsters, ghosts, demons, etc.

Awesome as always. I keep writing this with every new episode you release. I would really like to know more about the team behind these videos one day, because your work is amazing. Your research is nothing less than impeccable. And even as a passionate mythology lover, I always learn something new.

Thought about the original and story about The Oak king and The Holly king from Celtic mythology?
