This is true but they also have the bacteria in their mouths (sloths are my fav animal) so if you want to touch them I recommend feeding them so they can't bite you

Well if they are cleaned first (as well as properly) then there is no danger of that. So maybe they should consider doing that for people who want to hug them.

The real reasons Is because sloths claws are extremely long and durable
