"I'm not really that concerned with the shape of the Krana."

Something cool that you didn't mention: bohrok came with little clips you could peg into their canisters lids and hang them from so when you peel off the sticker it looks like they're hanging in the cocoon!

Fun fact: Bohrok were not tamable without krana, but they were programmable. They're lifeless machines. Only the krana lives. They're also not aggressive or malicious. Their job is to "clean" the island by leveling it. Later, they did do this in the story, as per their function. They're not bad, they were just awoken prematurely, so they had to be stopped from completing their mission. It was only when they were being prevented from completing their mission that one would turn to attack, then they'd usually just go right back to work, depending which type of bohrok.

I remember trying to shoplift a Nuhvok when I was 3 years old. Luckily, I was stupid enough to take it out from under my coat once my mother and I were back in the car, and she saw it. I was young enough that I didn't have a concept of "stealing" yet, so I had only done it because my mother said she wasn't buying it for me. Thankfully, she went back into the store and gave it back while apologizing profusely.

The Bohrok Tahnok set was the first Bionicle set I ever had.
Was in a toy section of a store and was with my Mom and sister. My Mom was letting my pick a toy.
I remember looking around for a long while because I suck at making decisions and was running out of time. I eventually picked out a Bohrok Tahnok set because I thought it looked cool but had no idea what it was.
Got many other sets after that!
Remember playing with these at home, in car rides, and my grandmas house. So many memories!

Bohrok are, and always will be, my favourite Bionicle models.

My friend actually snapped one of the rubber bands, and she also somehow twisted the hook on my Gali when I wasn't looking. I blamed it on her being a year too young being 6, when the packaging says 7+.

Loved the set, their ball gimmick and in their cans is unique

Realy wish Lego went back to these and maybe a Legacy release of all of them.

When I was a kid I loved Bionicle but I didn't know if I wanted to get one, until these things came out; I wanted them badly. But we could never find them as by the time I got courage to ask my parents for one; the Toa Nuva were out, so I asked for them instead. (I literally saved up my pocket money for just them :D )

Then the Bohrok-Kal came out and I wanted to seize them fast, but the stores didn't sell them where I was and I missed out. Anyway over time I got into the lore; when the series ended I finally discovered "Bricklink" and bought the bohrok that I wanted all those years ago.

To think, a simple bohrok started and ended my bionicle journey. Although the series is gone, my love for it remains strong; I only hope the new lego anniversary voting goes well; since they put bionicle on the list and if it wins, Bionicle returns! (At least in reprints.)

The Bohrok were my favorite sets as a kid. And in my fictional headcanon, they join the Toa after their initial defeat. I always looked at them as living beings, despite the true lore.
I even had them join the Toa in a battle against the 2001 Rahi sets and the Rahkshi.
Oh the make believe a child could cook up!

The Bohrok have a special place in my heart. I remember getting my first Bohrok when my family were on Vacation with my cousins family. He got one too and we had so much fun playing with them. I loved the ball transformation aesthetic and the biting lunge attack. It was also the most complicated thing I have built aside from the other bionicles.

I may eat these words because I didn't follow Bionicle super closely once it hit the Metru Nui storyline, but I honestly think these guys are unparalleled in terms of playability. Their ability to transform into a ball and their attacking capabilities were amazing, and as a kid I definitely appreciated the low price point compared to the Rahi. As an adult, I don't really care for every Bohrok essentially being the same thing with a different coat of paint, but I loved these things to death as a kid. Great video as always. As a non-enthusiast you've already inspired me to grab a couple sets from Bricklink, and I couldn't be happier getting to spend more time with these things.

The Bohrok are by far some of my favourite bionicles of all time. I grew up with the Glatorian sets, but the bionicle tub at school was filled with old gen Bionicle pieces - and the coolest were always the Bohrok and Rahkshi parts. My grandma got me the Brown and Black one for my birthday one year and I adore them so so so much.
