Love the click bait title. It is because it's tasteful and has chops while not losing musicality. Time, dynamics, musical ideas, tension/release.... chops come last in the list of what makes a great solo. Great job, as usual, Carter.

Returning to drumming after a long hiatus (marriage, children, work etc.) I have one word for what Mr McLean has done here: SUBLIME...
In a few more words: It's like listening in to the musical, rhythmical equivalent of a conversation between two dearest friends, reminiscing and enthusiastically exploring new ideas together in a spirit of mutual respect. Genius. And inspiring.
