I just hit a wall with finding a way of extracting revit info and imputing that into a parameter for user name and central proyect location. And this talk while outside the scope of this little predicament has helped lots. Knowing c# is harder to implement means i should code in python first by the looks of it. The bigger hurdle is not learning the stuff its making it so others non trained people can naturaly edit if nesesary.

Marcello, you are help full, in a few ways. Most people have no idea of the terminology of the programming world. Some day this will be common sense. Give it a few a few years hopefully the whole world will get there shit together.

Hello, there is another programming language that is ruby, which can be used to optimize OpenStudio scripts for thermal load analysis.
