Hi there! I am Joseph.
I have been an immigrant / expat living in central Portugal along with my beautiful girlfriend Mariana for eight years now.

Together Mariana and I, would like to show you a bit of the daily goings on around our Portuguese farm / homestead / smallholding and all of the work we are doing whilst renovating, starting building projects, working with our livestock, DIY and trying to grow our little families own food!

I am always dumbfounded at how much these beautiful farms are! The only problem I’ll have is I don’t have my car here, but I won’t let that stop me. I wouldn’t want to drive here, there are too many dangerous roads and fast drivers, I’m not too brave, although driving in NY is a different kind of scary.
