I use Hollis stainless steel backplate with a 4.5 lb P-weight and the Elite 2 harness. Very nice setup.

hi, thanks for this informative video .. here's a question : I'm a man of 170 Cm tall.. standard body structure and planning to replace my Jacket BCD with DB/W one.. what size of a stainless backplate you think I should go for ? thanks

There are
Steel, aluminum, carbon fiber and titanium.
Steel is heavy and not travel friendly.
Al backplate corrodes
CF has its own issues as well as high price
The best BP is Titanium
