From 7 days to Valheim, always some of the best guides around! Thank you for taking the time to make them!

The best loot farming tactic in 1.0 now doesn't involve looting POIs at all. Once you get to the mid-game/motorcycle just drive around the main roads outside of towns in the Wasteland and kill zombie bears and dire wolves. There are tons of them. Red loot bags are substantially buffed in 1.0, and those critters always drop one. You can get 100 magazines/books a night, best tool and weapon drops in the game, and stacks of ammo. Far better than POIs or trader quest rewards, it's almost game-breaking.

This is really nice if you like to pre-loot before a quest, so I’m voting for more of these.

With so many playthroughs sometimes it is nice to just grab and go for progression. Thank you!!!

Salvaging skill with an Impact Driver is actually really good at bashing loot containers. In the endgame I usually only carry the impact driver with a dig, iron, wood and stone mod. It gets me through all the blocks in the game fairly quickly and is perfectly servicable at salvaging level 3 if you want to keep your point investment low. I tend to respec for mining, since a few days of mining will give an enormous amount of resources, and then you can get your skill points back.

You can do a nice little cheesy loot grab early if you have a few lockpicks and can find the Ostrich Hotel. It's a Tier 5 POI, but the loot is very easy to get to and the zombies are generally easy to handle at low levels. Take your pick or axe and bust a 1 x 1 block on the right side of the garage door. From the spot you can easily shoot zombies and attract them to the hole and then beat them or spear them to death through the hole. Once done.. you can go inside.. kill the few remaning, get loads of exp and get youself a Tier 5 easy loot stash. Easy peasy.

I wish i could remember all that.. My memory = new poi every time. hahaha

Love this. Thank you. I don’t think we need anything less than a tier 3 run though.

Part 2 please. I play solo and am doing pretty decent so far but hey, who doesn't want more loot. 😂

Great video! I live a few blocks from the bear den in my current game... I visit regularly with 3 cobblestone blocks and 3 cobblestone scaffolding ladders. I go to the upstairs patio and build a quick and dirty 6 block fighting position where I snipe the sleeping bears. Pretty much everything in the room will run at you and can even me killed with melee.

Its just too hard for me to pass up two red bags, plus all the leather the bears drop.

Watched some trashy 7DTD videos. Kudos on making excellent, to the point, helpful content. This one earned you a sub.

in the first loot room. you cant nailgun shoot the vents and then one by one wake up a zombie with a nail. kill it.. and go to the next.. great spot to get in..

I prefer to fight for the exp, but some ladders and building blocks with Parkour 1-2 can absolutely cheese entire buildings provided you have the tools to make a hole in the exterior of the building.

Forgot one of the most accessible ones if you play on the Navezgane map: Bob's boars. They made it harder to get into Grace's cage, but now you can just dig underneath it even when you just start your world and without skills into Miner69'er. It's essentially a burried supplies quest but with actual good loot.

Nice video in general though!

Those aren't called noob pillars. The technical term is "Nerd Pole" 😂

You should separate them by ares. Wasteland, snow, pine forest, etc. Just being selfish since I'm doing a wasteland only run 😂

Should mention going to a higher teir biome to increase loot stage

You are the first person I've heard refer to it as a noob pillar for the last 10 years it's always been known as a nerd pole and the term originated in Minecraft it actually makes no sense to call it a noob pillar as noobs generally don't think to nerd pole up to something!

I found that video very informative and useful.
I am not 100% sure about what I think about this content though.
The devs certainly did not intend you to be doing this but there are so many other ways to cheese stuff in this game, maybe the purity of it does not matter.

Noob pillar huh? Never heard it called that. Years ago it was always called 'nerd pole'. You used to just be able to build a nerd pole up high and sit there during a horde night - they'd leave you alone if you were up high enough.
