Mayor Adams Talks Gun Violence, Bringing Back Reformed Anti-Crime Unit

I recently moved here a little over a month ago from the Southside of Chicago due to gun & gang violence on an overwhelming scale. A stray bullet went into my apartment building & struck my neighbor in her neck, as she was putting her children to sleep, literally on the other side of the wall. After my time there I decided that was enough, sold everything & came here. I know it's NYC but at this current time it does not hold a candle to the urban warfare that is modern day Chicago, I can assure you New Yorkers that & I hope it never does get to that level of madness. I also hope this Man actually lives up to his word and doesn't end up being another 'historic' mayor with empty promises & a crippling beautiful city like the one i was previously in.
