How To Use Google Translate In Facebook Messenger

While Facebook Messenger doesn't have a built-in translation feature, you can always use Google Translate to switch the language of any text. In this video, I walk you through the steps you can take to use Google Translate in Facebook Messenger. I recommend downloading the Google Translate app, which makes translations, both online and offline, much easier. From there you can just copy and paste the text from the other language in and translate it into your native language. Hopefully, down the road, Facebook adds this feature into Messenger by default.

I have been doing this for three years. It is annoying, especially when you are translating a very heated lovers argument. Especially when the other party refuses to send you pretranslated messages. Therefore you are translating yours and theirs.

What a out writing something in English on Google translate then copying the Spanish translation and pasting it into Facebook. When I open the facebook message keyboard it doesn't show the translation at the top like in other Do you know a fix for that?
