Appreciate the video! I didn't know what bigfile was for and many others, so thanks for that.
One of my favorite ones I'd say is snacks image, I replaced my beloved image.nvim with snacks image.

Im not convinced with snacks. I'm still using lazyvim and just a couple of quality of life plugins, like treesitter and fzf. I don't know why but I'm creating a configuration as much as vanilla as possible right now, no floating windows, no tab_bars, no fancy colors... just plain text and some improved functions. But, even so, I still love to see people configuring and using their nvim. Thank you for your video!!!

Snacks.image is fast, I usually read my obsidian notes in neovim to keep the flow, the image preview popup that snacks provide is just work compare to image.nvim, folke the goat

You are loading 85/97 plugins on startup, that's not right... you need to have your lazy.nvim lazy load more plugins... you can easily get to 100ms startup and have everything run smoother

cd into your nvim configs and ask claude code to setup lazy loading and it does a FANTASTIC job, that's wht I did to fix my own

I use Snacks explorer but in telescope window preset, and it's awesome for me. Love it.

I also use the Snacks picker. I love that I can select multiple files and open them all at once

I've been using mini as it's been fairly lighter weight and it let's me centralize most of my appearance plugins I've looked in to snacks but right now don't really see a reason to switch great video though.

@ascourter thank you for another great video, I find if very easy to follow your content. I notice you have much nicer layout for the snacks UI. I don't see in you config files where you are setting a vertical layout. Can you tell me how I could achieve that?
