I probably have a different memory from anybody else with this song. Whenever I hear this song, I recall a dream I had where the entire world flooded and the only people left were myself and a woman I loved more than life itself, and we just sat in our dinghy, holding each other, crying, and talking about our lives before the flood, reminiscing about the people we loved, and trying to prepare ourselves for the inevitable end. I woke up on the couch with my mother playing this song while she cleaned house. Ah, memories.
