Doing this for chorus this year, and that clapping is HARD. Clapping on the upbeat while the other sections are clapping on the downbeat isn't easy!

I'm a bass. This is the first piece of choral music I ever sang seriously in high school. I love it so much!

I haven't heard this song in at least 5 years, but I started remembering bits of it recently.

My high school did this last year and as a soprano 1 it was so hard on my voice! Still one of the best songs we’ve done!

Amazing piano work. Nailed those runs even at this pretty crazy tempo

Doesn't it suck if your choir doesn't get to do this song just because they can't clap

I'm gonna clarify this now to the people saying this is too fast... The thing is, there is no set speed in music, even with written tempos, it's all up to the musician's view. The thing is, written music isn't a guideline, it's not even a set of rules but instead a series suggestions. ~ya boi BISSA

At a certain point, there is some offbeat clapping, but that's written in the copies we use.

some of the upper structures in the vocal harmonies are insane! what is the last chord!? Looking at the score it looks like an AminMaj7 with a 9th in the sopranos stratosphere. Am I reading that right? Listening to it, sounds like some kind of 7th chord with a sharp 11. but wow
