There are several rules for urbex. Here are a few...
1. Never take anything
2.always travel with a buddy
3.always do your research before exploring.
4. Avoid still water at ALL costs.
5. Never ever reveal the location. You don't want idiots spoiling it for everyone else.
6. Expect the unexpected, like to be caught or arrested.
7. And imo the most important rule of all, cover your ass with respirators, gloves, good solid shoes, etc. if someone does ruin it and it get investigated, you do not want your prints on anything.
8.if you find ANYTHING wrong, a body, crime scene etc, leave immediately and make an anonymous 911 call.
9. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Many places are on private property and may have cameras. You can find out ownership records through the local tax assessors office to determine if the property is owned. Thanks for coming to my ted talk

You know, for this being abandoned for over a decade... theres just so much left in it. My uncle died and some people found out nobody was at his house anymore, kicked in the door and over the last couple years... everything worth value has been stripped. Everything.
