Every microtech has that. Both of mine, my buddies, and every single OTF sitting on the shelf at the local dealer. It's normal, helps keep it firing in the chance that debris gets in the button, which is highly likely as it collects alot of shit riding in your pocket

Every microtech has this. It's because the button rides on a spring to make for smoother firing. If it didn't, the anodizing would slowly wear away and the action would also be gritty...but after checking all 4 of mine, yours does appear to be excessive. Give 'em an email or call.

There’s a spring under the slider to make it not rub up against the handles it’s there version of guardian tactical solution to smooth openining

I have the same thing and it fires just fine when I’ve needed it

I have zero play on my Hera whether deployed or not.

My Combat Troodan, however, has zero play until the blade is deployed. Once deployed, it rattles like crazy.

500+ for that. Not to mention ur lucky if you get to spend your hard earned money on one.

You can’t find a switchblade that doesn’t do that and if you do it’s probably either really expensive or really cheap

I have a high-end Chinese replica for $60 and it doesn’t have this issue…

Don't worry, all MECHANISMS need a little bit playing to work correctly, that's normal .
