To anyone who wondered, this was a tear-away dress made for these kinds of stunts. If you pay attention, she keeps her hands behind her back the whole time. When he pulls the front, it tears on both sides of her, leaving the back piece hanging behind her. Her hands keep the back from flapping around at first.
Excellent stunt. Tear-away clothes have been used for comedy skits since before film existed.
