The Boy Who Jesus Called 'Warrior Of Light' | Manuel Fodera

Manuel Fodera was an Italian boy who offered his pain for the conversion of souls before succumbing to cancer in 2010. He loved the Eucharist so much that at age 6 he got special permission from the diocesan bishop to receive his first Holy Communion.

Manuel's story in part teaches us about how precious the Eucharist is. His cause for beatification is underway.

I had - i have - a little son called Tommy ❤️ born on Easter Sunday 1990, died on Easter Sunday 1999, just a week before his 9th birthday. Beautiful, loving and thoughtful, he did all the things that little boys do.. Cycling down the steps, across the lawn, over the edge, out the gate! And straight across the road! No stopping him 😍 that was only one of his escapades.. He had leukemia, a bone marrow transplant did not work. He knew he would die but did not speak about death - only about Heaven. "You know, mammy, in heaven the little birds and rabbits come right up to you so you can rub them? And they're not afraid..." It broke so many hearts to let him go that Easter morning - till we meet again Tommy ❤️❤️❤️ you will be waiting to show us all the beautiful little corners of heaven - another little saint like Manuelo xx you were such a gift from God. Too good for this world ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

37 years ago I received Holy Communion at a retreat where soft music was played around 5 minutes and with my eyes closed I distincly heard a very distinct voice telling me "...I love you." It was so special thet at 77 I still can remember how my heart felt and to this day it is one of my consolation moment. "...Viva Chrito Rae."

20 years ago I said to God while thinking of his Saints, the living ones here now, known only to Him, that I wish I could know who they are and what they are doing, thinking that it was an impossible request. My wish is being granted. Fantastic soul. So young yet so understanding. Suffering was his school. Pray for us dear Saint.
