I have no clue where Monstercat will wind up going this year. You have one of the worst January months of recent memory with almost nothing I liked, followed by probably one of the best Februaries of recent memory with almost nothing I really hated. A good month for returns like Habstrakt (not surprised at all about where you've placed him) and an even better month for debuts. Especially happy for Sadbois and Pirapus here.

The difference in quality between this month and last month feels like night and day. I'm not sure if this year will be good, but at least it will be interesting.

Bad news: Rise Higher isn't included and I'm sad! All of the videos by far... doesn't have my favorite Monstercat song of the year

My favorites are Damage and Oblivion as Top 2 (Birthday release by Conro on Silk was the best, so it's Top 5 of the month ez)
Also it's one of my favorite Monstercat months since June 2023

18: Boring as hell (4.5/10)
17: Way too goofy for me to take it seriously (3.5/10)
16: yAwN (5/10)
15: Kind of interesting, but the original is better (5.25/10)
14: This EP was more boring than I expected (5.5/10)
13: Ditto for this (5.25/10)
12: Pretty cool melody here, reminds me of Pendulum (7/10)
11: Cool midtempo, I guess (6.75/10)
10: Koven haven't put out a song I've really enjoyed for years (5.75/10)
9: Glad Franky Nuts has a release now (8/10)
8: Melody is bland, vocals are okay (6/10)
7: I like Jantine's vocals, but everything else is lame (5.75/10)
6: Better than the other Koven song this month, but not that good (6.5/10)
5: Easily the best song released this month, no contest (10/10)
4: Cool collab, the bass goes crazy (8.5/10)
3: Having Pirapus on the label is great, and this goes crazy hard (9.5/10)
2: Probably my most meh first impression of a BC song, but I think it'll grow on me (7.5/10)

Best/Good: Feel Ur Luv (easily), Ultrasound, Damage, Show Me!
Worst: Basically everything else (Bass Bop and Loving Me especially)

I think this month was worse than January (maybe a hot take). There were only a few songs I really enjoyed this month, (Feel Ur Luv, Damage and Ultrasound) and everything else was not super interesting. I hope March will be better than both January and February.
