#SXSW 2022: Exhibition hall walk through

Probably my favourite #SXSW since attending in 2016. I was in Austin in March 2020 when the festival was cancelled. What followed was being stuck in America for 3 months, running away to refuge in London when the #BLM riots started, eventually making it back to #Mauritius 7 months later.

It was an emotional conference to say the least. With the #Ukraine war raging while attendees were attempting to physically reconnect after a two year absence. The first keynote I attended titled 'Future of Democracy: How tech will shape Elections', the speaker admitted having forgotten how to speak in front of a crowd. Bless her.

#SXSW was proud to #StandWithUkraine fuelled by limited edition tshirts & Ukraine pins which would contribute to the donation fund. 🇺🇦

This year, due to the economical effects of #COVID in #Mauritius, I personally paid for this trip. I don't think I would have missed it for the world & very much looking forward to the 2023 edition.
