iOS 16's Siri Sounds

The sound effects for iOS/iPadOS 16, watchOS 9, macOS 13 Ventura, and HomePod Software 16's Siri (Introduced in Beta 3). These sound effects are going to be phased out starting with iOS/iPadOS 18 and macOS 15 Sequoia with Apple Intelligence.

The activated sound for Siri is really not that good when using CarPlay really unclear and not that loud. I hope they change it, but really great video!! Thanks for making it!

I feel the new sounds could do with being just a more modern version which sounds similar to the original, just so they're easier to hear.

I hope some day Google will create new sounds for Google Assistant, the same goes for Alexa and Amazon. To be honest, the new Siri sounds sound kinda similar to the Alexa sounds for activation and other stuff. I think Amazon should change their Alexa sounds, just so no one gets confused.

Update: New discovery!

There’s apparently 2 other sounds I missed, jbl_begin_short, and jbl_begin_short_carplay

These are slightly modified versions of the jbl_begin sound just without the first tone, only the last one.

Someday I think I’m gonna just make an entire video covering the iOS “UISounds” folder in iOS 16. It’s really interesting stuff in there somewhat

Siri Action Confirmed is now used in iOS 16.3 when you toggle a HomeKit device.

no clue if anyone else has said this or not but the ambiguous and no_match sounds are sort of a leftover from the iOS Voice Control. the one we had before Siri, and NOT the voice control accessibility feature in iOS now. it’s also known as simply Classic Voice Control and is a lot less flexible than Siri, and also a lot less capable too.
