I think women take it a bit better because labor is literally electric shocks running through your entire body mutiple times for extended periods of a time. I had s three day intense labor with no medicine (two days over due baby) and a one day intense labor with no medicine (six month pregnancy induced forced labor just to have closer with the baby with a catheter). Both natural child births no C-section. Labor is brutal, but I actually appreciate the process and the strength I had to get through it for my babies.
