surprise i'm moving out of my current nyc apartment!! (again) you probably saw this coming, but get ready for a month of moving vlogs and getting settled in my new apartment! this video is a rundown of why i am moving, what is happening and a discussion about my old and new apartments!

Uh what?! People said you weren’t independent? You pay your share of the rent, groceries. You bought furniture. Only difference are the two roommates. You are extremely independent. I think people who comment don’t actually live or understand big city life when it comes to rent. Even smaller cities are experiencing rent spikes so it’s a true indicator of how much rent you want to pay. I will say you are showing more of your friends this time. This is my perceived view. I'm very grateful to be in a rent controlled apartment, so I've been here 8 years. $400 rent increase is insane. That said, moving costs are pricey, too- broker fees, first and last, movers...moving in NYC is no joke.

Omg I learned the struggle of a north facing apartment when I lived in one in Minnesota during covid era. It was so depressing. Always try to get a south or west facing apartment for sure!! I live in a west and north facing now and get so much sunlight in the afternoon it gives me so much serotonin 🌞
