Turkey's Famous Pamukkale the 'Cotton Castle'

Pamukkale means "Cotton Castle" in Turkish, named for how the incredible travertine terraces seem to resemble pools of cotton. Over thousands of years, the mineral rich waters that spring from natural spas have attracted visitors to experience the waters, which were believed to have healing powers.
