The story behind Jan's scar reminds me a bit of Harrison Ford, who got his own small signature scar in a car crash. However, the truly crazy scar story is Tina Fey, who was evidently attacked by some random slasher when she was little. I am a fan of both Tina Fey and Jan Smithers. Scars don't stop such women.

I was both a "Bailey" fan and a "Mary Anne" fan.

Jan had one of if not the best scenes ever on WKRP. The one with Herb while wearing Johnny's T-shirt. Also, another good one is the debut episode with Johnny playing the song "You're having my baby". The way she reacted during the whole scene was brilliant !!!!
