Bumgarner should be treated like bay area gold. Like rice, young, Montana, etc. Bumgarner is a legend. He won the 2014 championship, pretty much all by himself. Please give the man some good pay, giants. His last contract, he was shorted big time, yet he didn't complain. I couldn't bare to see mad bum in a dodgers jersey, or some crap. Treat our legend with respect

If the Giants don't make the postseason this year, they'll be kicking themselves for not trading Bumgarner. If they're not competing, the last thing they'll want to do is tie up big money to a pitcher next year. And lets face it, he's no Tim Lincecum and has yet to even sniff a Cy Young. He's beloved because of what he did in the World Series against the Royals. That was 5 years ago. In the last 2 years and this season, his record is 16-23. He's not going to improve as he gets older. With the word that the Yankees were willing to part with Clint Frazier for a starting pitcher, they should have been on phone making that deal. Its about the future of the Giants and their farm system is slim at this point. Next year should have been the start of the rebuild. Call up Bart and Ramos. They'll have Dubon and Shaw. Would have been nice to add Frazier to left field. A guy that is capable of hitting 30 home runs.
