Shannon tends to loose her balance in self-care in so many ways when she’s not doing good in a relationship yet it’s the most important time to up your self-care.

Diff topic not being talked about is Emily and Shane. Why are they both so hard on their daughter Annabelle ? This is not ok. Shane hardly acknowledges his daughter and even when she’s right in front of him, he’ll make sure to say hi to the twin boys before Annabelle then not a word yo her while she’s right there clearly hoping for some love and attention.
And Emily judging her daughter on public tv even as a regular ongoing joke is brutal. The girl has energy. That’s what children are supposed to have. They also have emotions so being bad comes with the territory along with the good stuff and especially the energetic fun stuff that should be fully enjoyed instead of joked negatively about. She’s not hurting anyone so why are they trying to stifle her emotions. That’s the worst thing to teach a child especially a girl with so much energy who will struggle being female in many ways her whole life thanks to society. That energy and emotions need to come out. Never try to stifle anyone’s emotions let alone a child’s. Seems they both compare their children way too much and fav the boys. Feel super bad for Annabelle. Educate her and give her rules and consequences but don’t judge her publicly and never pretend she doesn’t exist. Used to dislike Shane till he started being kinder to Emily. Now I can’t stand him at all because of how he ignores his daughter. Dads who ignore daughters are horrific dads from what I’ve seen first hand from many of my friends and experienced myself. Many can be Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde by ignoring them in front of people then abusing them (mildly to the worst ways imaginable) behind closed doors. Emily does not hold him accountable enough. She used to try for herself but she should be trying even more for her kids. He’d always get mad at her for it too and he likely only changed towards Emily from being on tv. I hope they both see this BS when they watch themselves on tv more than they saw the other crap.
