Mr Woo, You can also tell the y intercept by looking at the polynomial's factored form. When its in factored form just multiply the constants in each bracket to determine the y intercept. For example : (x - 2)(x + 1)(x + 3)
y intercept : -2 × 1 × 3 = -6

10:05 A suspiciously linear section of graph from -2 to 1. Trying x=-1 gives y=3 so the turning points are between the three plotted points.
