Craig looking around as he bleeds out, waiting...cold kill, can't imagine Roger Moore doing that

He is emotionless during the kill! I think this is his most brutal fight along with the toilet fight in Casino Royal and the Submarine fight in The World Is Not Enough.

I don't think we'll be seeing such a ruthless yet Elegant and Manly Bond every again!!
Daniel Craig just fits the role perfectly and has rather played his part very well!!

Such a realistic scene, it's hard to believe they're actually acting .

These kind of brutal hand to hand fights excite me more than seeing a glider turn into submarine

Director Forrester said he slowed down his camera work so you could see what was going on in this scene.
The results speak for themselves.

I know this movie didn't land well for most. But for me it did. It's my favourite Bond. I love the grit, the cynicism and the hectic action.

All the details in this scene are so brutal yet subtle at the same time. The camerawork, the acting and the choreography. I like the way he professionally is avoiding eye contact when killing him: it’s like saying “it’s not personal”. Daniel is technically the best acting Bond. Wether you like him or hate him.

he hit the femoral artery in the leg if that is punctured normally it takes between 30-60 seconds before the person bleeds to death which is why he suddenly stopped fighting and died so quick

The choreo in this movie feels gritty and realistic. He's scrambling to use various objects to block his opponent's knife. He even smashes him in the face with a laptop. Filming this scene must have hurt. Its not just my favorite Bond fight scene, its one of my favorite fight scenes period.

The most underrated movie of the Craig era

This is how a Bond fight should be. Brutal, cold blooded, and no stupid music playing

The shakiness of the camera actually made this fight better made it feel frantic. It was brief and the shots and cuts are well considered to not obscure too much and also fit with the pacing of the fight. This is another one of those scenes that shows the real ruthlessness of Bond like the opening of Casino Royale. Pretty good stuff

Quantum of solace is such a good film. So under appreciated. Wrongly s*** upon. Crazy action, good story and a bad a** Bond. The most violent Bond to date.

Say what you like about the movie overall, but no one can deny how good Daniel Craig played this role. Bond was ANGRY, and it came across in every move, every expression. He's far more vicious and predatory here than he was in Casino Royale, because of Vesper.

I saw this for the first time on LSD. I had to leave the theater immediately after this scene and I did not come back that night. This was way too intense, detailed, gritty. Way too real. I felt severely nauseated, dizzy, and lightheaded, as if I had experienced his attacker's exsanguination myself. And this, after becoming enraptured during the opening theme, then promptly turned into a paranoid wreck during Mr. White's interrogation - "we have people everywhere, isn't that right?" really freaked me the fuck out on 3.5 doses of LSD. After this scene, I had a mental image of myself fainting and the ambulance being called. No, that outcome had to be avoided at all costs. I had to leave the theater and go listen to Mozart instead. And so I did.

I did finish the movie another time, not in a psychedelic state of mind, and found it very satisfactory: another strong Bond film. With extremely good cinematography, the filmmakers definitely achieved what they set out to accomplish.

the momentum in this scene is brilliant. Action, reaction. Watching the behind the scenes i realized this film was shot during a writer strike and basically written by craig and the director as they shot it. its the best "atmospheric - feeling" bond in my opinion. He doesn't feel too slick or too glossy and invincible.

I like how Bond always looks slightly annoyed after getting the upper hand in a fight.
