I grew up studying traditional martial arts: TKD and Karate (in one form or another). It really depended on where my Dad was stationed.

I was never a fan of doing kata. I'd go so far as saying that "I hated it." It was one of the reasons I jumped to BJJ and Muay Thai after I flew the coop.

Now, some decades later, I find myself watching more and more of these videos and appreciating them for what they are designed to do.

I am 45 years old did Karate, Boxing, BJJ Krav Maga... Military Krav Mag etc.... I still go with Karate for many reasons... First big one is health! 90% of the time its pure health. Other is that 1 video cannot show you how people train... My guys know how to fight... That does not promise them immunity... Just makes them better than they were before.

I'm going to say Tekki shodan, however it could also be Tekki Nidan or Sandan.

Interesting application too, always good to see varying uses of the same techniques.
