Following his Beatport dubstep chart topping remix of of Above & Beyond's "You Got To Go" and "On My Way To Heaven", Californian dubstep sensation Seven Lions returns to Anjunabeats - this time taking on Velvetine's vocal epic "The Great Divide".

Counting the likes of Zane Lowe and Porter Robinson amongst his fans, Seven Lions aka Jeff Montalvo again weaves a journey that balances bass-dripping darkness with mind-melting melodic twists. Almost 10 years. I essentially went through my teens with this man's music. It is a part of me, of my love for music, and brought me into some of the best friendships I will ever have. Thank you, Seven Lions, for making music a life-changing event.

This remix is a masterpiece. The build up starting at 2:07 through to 2:55 is breathtaking.

I remember the summer this came out a bunch of us used to pop a capsule, lay on a nice fluffy blanket on the ground, stand a disco light on the floor to project onto the ceiling, blast all kinds of electronic music & just talk about life. You knew it was a good song when everyone stops mid sentence once the beat dropped. Once the song was done; everyone's mind is completely blown and starts laughing HAHA. This is one of the many remixes that Jeff has engraved into my arsenal of music. I'll probably call those people my friends for the rest of my life because of this music. :)

By far the best version of this song, this is one of my favorite tracks I've heard in a really long time. I keep coming back to this song and listening to it years after I heard it the first time. It never gets old.

My exposure to this song was Bassnectar playing it in a set list at an illegal warehouse show ( the kind where cops outside ignore tanks being carried into venue). My friends were convinced it was Lorin, but I knew it wasn't. I looked up the lyrics to find Seven Lions a few days later and honestly even though he's consistently released absolute bangers, I just don't know if he can or will ever top this. It's just so complex and layered. It's too good.

If you have an extremely powerful stereo, this is a great track to show your friends. My stereo outweighs two NFL linebackers and makes 2400 continuous watts. This song does NOT disappoint.

Listening to this song for the first time high asb on my audio technicas in 2012 was mind blowing. The synths in this song really stood out for me. Easily one of the best EDM songs ever.

Wow. I don't know anything about music but the transition/build up starting at around 2:00 is so beautiful, I cried. Completely overwhelmed my senses.

I first heard this song in 2013 on a montage and after that I think I was looking for it for about 5 years until one day I found it. It’s 2020 and I still listen to it
