Here’s what happens. So a scammer looks for a victim on social media and then connects the dots to family members and if the family member has any videos of their voice online, the scammers then take the voice and use it to create an AI voice of the family member. The scammer can speak in real time using the family members voice and the person getting scammed has no idea it’s fake.

How did the scammer know the voice of the person? Is the scammer a friend, relative, family member? Because your voice just doesn’t come up randomly on the internet.

This reminds me of the days when FPS games had to be labeled as the cause of gun violence, not the fact that 99% of Americans own guns no no it was the first person shooter games. The same games that are popular everywhere including scandanavian countries and gun violence never ticked up...

She lying and it's despicable that she has a platform. I've been trying for 5 months to clone my own voice and I'm a AI researcher and still can't pull it off, either she doesn't know her daughter's voice or she's blatantly lying and vying for attention. It's one thing to clone Drake and washout the imperfections with background audio or an acapella it's a WHOLE different thing to actually accurately clone a a nutshell she's lying and it's just a pathetic attempt for a bit of publicity and fame.
