So, let me get this straight. Every year, there is supposed to be a Fiscal Year budget starting on Oct 1 and ending on Sept 30; Congress knows this but they didn't get it done and now need 30 days to "resolve" the issues? If they had any desire to fix the issues, they would work on it throughout the year, which is why we send them to DC in the first place. If any of these people in Congress were having financial issues in their own households, do you think they would let it go and do nothing? Do you think they would continue to spend with reckless abandon until they have to file for bankruptcy? No, they wouldn't because it would be their household and their money that would be affected. The problem is that these "public servants" think the tax we pay is "their" money. This guy, and all those "Republicans" who support continuing to spend outside the realm of what the Constitution stipulates, should just change over to the Democrat party. I'm a conservative Alabamian, and this guy makes me ashamed that he "represents" my state.
