2 years ago I literally caught one of those creatures in Biscayne Bay. It was so alien looking I ended up cutting the line. It was my first time ever seen anything like that. It actually swallowed my whole bait!!!

I'm not sure that is a bristle worm. I have a ton of them in my salt water tank, although not that big. They are good for eating detritus in the tank. The one you had maybe a fire worm. They are similar but the bristle worms are skinnier.
