You're not using enough touches of olive oil to qualify as one of Gordon's chefs.

I could almost hear what he was saying, you need to pump the music louder.

Chef: “The first step in this sauce is...” *MUSIC* “...now we’re ready to grill.”
Audience: 😟

I hate it when someone talks during the concert. Rude that.
Seriously the chef was sharing useful information. Dificult to understand much of what he said.

Geoduck.

all the seeds and crap he put on at the end is just overkill

“Here’s a sauce you can make”

Proceeds to use ingredients we haven’t heard of...

Note for future: lower the music volume when he’s talking

"If you see any BBQ guys from America they normally have a mop and a bucket and that's how much they're putting on"
As Texan...this is the most accurate description.
Beautiful.

04:10 - I cant wrap my head around how the ton of additional spices at the end wont completely drown out any flavor of the sauce and ribs.

Most places in the US do ribs low and slow in a smoker, but I've been to a couple places that use an open pit and cook the ribs a little hotter and faster. It's a different taste and texture, but after going to a hundred BBQ joints that all do it the same, I kinda want something different once in a while. You don't have to strictly follow the BBQ orthodoxy to serve up a really good plate of meat.

"Would you like some meat with your barbecue sauce?"
"Only if it's 50% bone or more!"
"Sir, I'll have you know that this establishment prides itself on serving only 60 percent bone meat and above."
"Excellent"

Being one of Gordon's chefs must be a huge honor.

A great chef is one who knows what flavors go well, and what the different seasonings taste like.
