Save Energy Now: Replace Fluorescent Tubes with LEDs

In this video, I'll show you how to upgrade your lighting with LED Tubes, and how you can save energy and money in the process. By replacing your fluorescent lights with LED lights, you'll be able to save money on your energy bill and enjoy better health and brighter rooms!
I wanted to convert T8 fluorescent Lights to LED. LED Lights are Brighter, Whiter and more Economical that fluorescent lights. Easy to fit and two real benefits, Brighter, but more energy efficient and cheaper to run, more importantly though, immediate light and no 'warming up'!!
So much better than Fluorescents and not that much more cost to replace. (Remember, you need a different starter though....)

When you change to led what do you do with the starter on the side? Do you leave that in?

Is it cost effective or easier to go toy screw-fix and change the whole unit for a new led light?

I read a couple of comments regarding the ballast but did not understand the responses. It is my understanding that all fluorescent light fixtures have ballasts. Can I leave the ballast wired inside the fixture and just replace the fluorescent bulb and fluorescent starter with an LED bulb and LED starter?

Flourescent lasts longer and uses less energy long term and is higher quality. And there are flourescent lights for cold areas

Been reading a lot about LED replacement and you can save even more energy by removing the ballast which is not required for LEDs.

I replaced the fluorescent tube with a new led fluorescent tube in my kitchen and it works better than the old fluorescent tube
