It depends on the speed of RAM you have installed. If your installed RAM is faster than the basic set speed, clocking and voltage, then you should do this. The FPS improvement will be absolutely minimal. Plus not every motherboard can enter the BIOS with the F2 or DEL buttons. This is one of the shorts that won´t tell you everything before the steps.
If your installed RAM is not faster than the basic set values in the BIOS, and you will do this. You won´t be able to turn on your PC until the BIOS reset will be done.
