Yeah I love how they emphasize that the ONLY person in the entire galaxy who could beat Malak… was Revan. Without him Malak was unrivaled

Darth Malak is extremely powerful.
Except when it comes to his arch-nemesis: Solid food.

Malak did have a fatal flaw though. His plan to conquer the republic didn't care about how well off the galaxy was post conflict. It would have taken them far longer to recover under him leaving the galaxy at greater risks of threats to come later. Revan however knew they were coming and was more careful to keep things more intact. He knew the value of keeping at least some pawns on the board.

It should be said that Malak is not only an eerie homage to Darth Vader, but he's also an example of what happens if the apprentice successfully overthrows the master. And for me, Malak is actually scarier than Vader since I grew up with him. Having to fight him in that final battle on the Star Forge was frightening for me, and years later I still get chills whenever I go after him.

Malak was very powerful Sith Lord, but unfortunatly he lived in an era along with Darth Revan.

I've always liked Darth Malak as well and I'm glad someone made a video on him but he wasn't powerful enough to defeat Revan.

He did get a hold of the Star Forge and upped its efficiency and output. The Star Forge consumed Force energies to produce star ships. He basically was a battery for it

It was mentioned that Malak was the best lightsaber duelist in his time, even being more skilled in it than Revan himself while Revan was more powerful and skilled with the force. Even his force lightning was much more devastating than anything Malak could conjure

I always assumed that Sidious used that same "freeze" attack on Saesee Tiin and Agen Kolar in his office and that only Windu and Fisto were able to resist it.

Honestly Darth Malak needs more respect. He did eventually surpass Darth Revan at the end and mastered the Star Forge in ways that both Revan AND the Rakata never thought of.
