All eyes are on Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh because both states are scheduled to have elections by the end of this year, following assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand, and Manipur. The political parties have started their vigorous campaigning to win over voters. AAP is also attempting to topple the current administration. Will voters stick with the BJP, which is now in power, or will they demand a change this time around? The BJP, which has been in power in Gujarat for more than 20 years, appears to be easily surpassing the majority threshold this time around as well. According to the CVoter survey, the party will win 135 to 143 seats out of the state's total 182. Despite intense campaigning, the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP is predicted to win 0 to 2 seats, trailing the Congress by a wide margin with 36 to 44 seats. In terms of vote percentage, the BJP is projected to secure a 46.8% vote share in this election, followed by the Congress at 32.3%, and the AAP at 17.4%.
