We already know the sex of our baby, but we decided to test out some of these fun gender prediction experiments to see if they were accurate in predicting whether our baby is a boy or girl. Disclaimer: as I mention in the video, we have been referring to our baby’s “sex” as his/her “sex” not “gender.” We called our “gender reveal” a “sex reveal” for this reason. I am simply calling this video “gender predictions” since that’s what most people are searching on YouTube when it comes to this topic...but watch the video for my thoughts on this!

The baking soda and urine gender prediction test (the boy or girl test with baking soda)

The morning sickness & nausea test

The clumsy vs. graceful test.

The “is your partner gaining weight?” test
The fetal heart-rate test
The face weight gain or booty weight gain test

Did you have a lot of heart burn? It’s another old wives tale in relation to the amount of hair that your baby will have. I had A LOT of heart burn during my pregnancy, and that, according to the tale- meant the baby will have a lot of hair. And it’s true- and she did❤️👧🏻❤️

We just found out we are having a boy, but every single old wives tale pointed to girl. I was convinced that it was a girl through the first trimester, but was mistaken! It’s funny that yours was so accurate!! One question unrelating to the sex of your baby, but around what week did you start feeling kicks from the outside?

Wow this is the biggest number difference with boy and girl also I love that she made the distinction with sex and gender

I did the baking soda thing with both pregnancies and both they told me I was having a boy and both times I had girls 😂😂
