Neutral here. Was a definate penalty against Vardy, he's forcefully tugged back if only just for a moment. As I understand the rules now, if there's no genuine attempt to play the ball leading to a clear denial of a goal scoring opportunity in the box it's a penalty and a red card. If the defender does try to play the ball it's just a yellow (as I understand it). A penalty should probably also have been given for the pull on the Southampton player, but the commentators wrong when he says "there's no difference" between the two. Vardy's would have 100% been a goal, the Southampton one the corner looks to be heading straight to the goalkeepers arms and it's doubtful the Southampton attacker could have got there.

Vardy's play on Sugawara should have been a red card rather than a yellow.

Missed old Soton FC ❤ when Jay Rodriguez, Lallana, Jose Fonte, Mane, Luke Shaw, Ramsdale, Gareth Bale, James Word Prowse, Dusan Tadic, Calum Chambers(Former Arsenal Man), Victor Wanyama, Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, Charlie Austin, Morgan Schneiderlin, Clyne, Oriel Romeu, Sofiane Boufal, Danny Ings, Moussa Djenepo, Nathan Redmond, Jannick Vestegard, Virgil Van Dijk etc all were playing in this Club. Imagine all these players not sold out and playing together all of them at the same time.. And again Imagine Prime VVD, Gareth Bale, Luke Shaw, Arron Ramsdale, Mane, Jay Rodriguez, Dusan Tadic, James Word Prowse, Adam Lallana, Fonte(Won Euro 2016 for Portugal), Emile Hojbjerg, Nathan Clyne, Danny Ings (Both LiverPool), Oriel Romeu(Barca), Sofiane Boufal etc if we have this type of exact lineup in today and all players having their Prime, they should have Won The EPL/BPL or maybe in the Top 3 atleast.. Imagine Prime Mane and Gareth Bale from both Wings and in the back line Prime Arron Ramsdale as GK and Prime Luke Shaw, Clyne, VVD, Vestegard, Chambers, Fonte and in the midfield, options like Hojbjerg/Romeu/Ward Prowse/ Sncheiderlin /Wanyama and Lalana/Tadic as No 10 role in front we have options like Ings/Jay Rodriguez/Boufal/Redmond/Djenepo, Charlie Austin, as well as Mane and Bale again. You can use players like Mane and Bale anywhere in the front.(No one can even stop prime Sadio Mane and Gareth Bale literally😮😮😮...❤❤❤
Long live Southampton FC(Saint Mary Stadium)..❤❤❤❤

This entire club is finished. Blame the manager, blame the players, blame the owners. They’re all to blame. The joke of the premier league. All out of their depth.

It took me about 4 hours to calm down after the game saints show some fight in ya for god sakes 😡

Why is Martin still here ? Let’s hope today’s the day he gets the sack. Week in week out we make the same errors. Leicester’s winner copy of Ipswich’s equaliser- also in the last min.

Again, enjoy coming in every week just to say ever since Ben Brereton Díaz cheated in the first Newcastle match, this injustice shall be paid in full. You are so going down !

Questionable substitutions once again.

When their #7 came on, you could hear the Leicester fan’s excitement. They knew he was about to cause some shit down the right side. So what do we do? Chuck Manning down the side he’s on and have Fraser to back him up. I love them both, but they are not going to deal with their speedy, tricky #7. Definitely isn’t able to deal with him if Fraser gets sent off. KWP was there and could have done a much better job. KWP was switched to right back.

The game was crying out for some experience (Lallana) in midfield to calm everyone down and run the game from the centre of the pitch, especially after going 2-1.

Alright… the ref was shocking but he didn’t put 3 goals past us, only ourselves to blame for that.

Looking forward to a few more wins in championship next season at least. Let’s just hope we can win a game at some point this season….

Gary Neville suggested taking penalties so that there would be no draws. It's better differently. Three points for the match - the winner gets three, if there is a draw - two for the equalizer, one for the other team. Score 0-0 - one point for each. Spread the word, everyone will have their say.

First, you Saints must hate the bloody sight of us, that’s understandable. But fear not, I (and others) are not exactly getting carried away with our lot either. All considering, we got the rub of the green here, you could have easily been 3 or 4 up and job done. City are very flaky at the back, making the same mistakes and getting punished. We’ve had a decent run fixture-wise, and haven’t messed with the real thing yet (God help us at Christmas). Keep the faith Saints, you’ll be ok. Anyhow, there’s 3 points here when you come to KP (as usual). Regards to the Ugly Insiders, from Gary Foley (no relation to Clive), ex-England (Leicester) hoppo.
